This new feature should resolve quite a few inconveniences – the three main problems we wanted to fix are the following:

• 1. For Samsung devices, some procedures showed up in the list even though they were not possible to complete with that specific phone. Now the phone’s brand and model will always be determined either automatically by the software or manually by the user.

• 2. In some cases ChimeraTool was able to identify the brand of the phone, but not the specific model. Now, with the new manual model selection option you will be able to determine the model of your phone, so this should no longer be an issue.

• 3. The new feature is also going to be useful when you’re working with a phone that “lies” and says it’s a different brand and/or model (and not what it actually is). For example, this can happen if a phone has a custom software installed.
