Unisoc mode

This document created at Sep 12, 2024, 9:23:33 AM and modified at Oct 5, 2024, 9:19:39 AM.

This document is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of Unisoc Mode, a feature available for devices equipped with SPD/Unisoc chipsets.

What is Unisoc mode?

Unisoc mode is a low-level interface designed for devices that use Unisoc/Spreadtrum SoCs. It operates similarly to EUB Mode, which is available for Exynos SoCs. Unisoc mode is not restricted to specific brands; any device with a Unisoc/Spreadtrum chipset is capable of booting into this mode.

How can I connect my Unisoc device in Unisoc mode?

Given the widespread use of Unisoc chipsets across various manufacturers, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. For most Samsung devices, testpoints are required. However, for many Motorola, Oppo, Tecno, and Infinix devices, you can enter Unisoc mode using button combinations. If the connection was successfully established you will see the SPDR U2S Diag port in your device manager.

What can I do in Unisoc mode?

In Unisoc mode, our Chimera software provides a variety of essential features. You can easily Remove FRP to bypass factory reset protection and regain access to your device. The "Get Info" function allows you to read basic device information. You can also perform software updates to recover a bricked device or use the Advanced Firmware Update procedure to update specific partitions individually. Additionally, the Store/Restore Backup option lets you save your device settings before performing advanced tasks. The IMEI Repair feature allows you to fix a damaged IMEI number, while Serial Repair enables you to correct a damaged serial number.

* Please note, the mentioned procedures require a Pro or Premium licence, the Unisoc module is not available for users with a Samsung license.
