With two factor authentication you can protect your account from strangers. After enabling the two factor authentication, you have to verify yourself every time you log-in. Your account will be protected by this function and password as well.
Do you want additional security for your Chimera Tool account? Use the two factor authentication. With two factor authentication you can protect you account from strangers. After enabling the two factor authentication, you have to verify yourself every time you log-in. Your account will be protected by this function and password as well. This function is not obligatory, we only recommend this option for users who want greater security for their Chimera Tool account.
To enable the two step authentication, you need to log-in to your Chimera Tool account. If you are logged-in you have to go to User Settings and Enable two factor authentication. After this give the Verification code and click Save settings.
After completing these steps you will have two options to set up the authentication. You can either choose Authy or Google Authenticator.
In the following we are going to give you a step-by-step guide using Authy. If you see this window, please download Authy from the AppStore or from GooglePlay store.
You have to launch the application on your device and fill out the boxes with your information (Phone number and e-mail). These do not have to match with your Chimera Tool registered e-mail or phone number. You have to verify yourself in the application with either a call or SMS. If you are done with this you have to click Next on your PC to get to Step 2.
If you see this screen on your computer, you have to scan this QR code with the application and then you need to save the Chimera Tool profile on Authy. After saving the profile, you will get a 6-digit code on the application, which you have to enter to Chimera Tool website in Step 3.
If you could enter the 6-digit code to the website, you are done with the set-up process. Every time you log-in you will need to enter this randomly generated 6-digit code to the website as well. Your account will be protected from everyone who doesn't have this authentication code. Your personal data will be even more secure, nobody will be able to change your password or your e-mail address.
