When a Qualcomm-based Oppo, Realme, or OnePlus device is connected to Chimera, the system automatically starts the identification procedure.
In most cases, the detection completes successfully if both the Volume and Power buttons are pressed during the initial connection.

Special Case: Oppo DL Mode

Some models may only enter a special Oppo DL Mode using this method.
If that happens, follow these steps to manually access Recovery Mode:

  1. Press and hold the Volume Down button while the phone is booting.

  2. Once in Recovery Mode, select your language.

  3. Tap multiple times on the “Version” indicator.

  4. A hidden dialog will appear — from there, enter Download (EDL) Mode.

On certain rare models, neither button combinations nor Recovery Mode will successfully switch the device into the correct EDL Mode.
In such cases, you will need to use hardware Test Points to establish the EDL connection manually.
