In this document, we are going to show you the procedure of removing the Knox Guard lock from Samsung Qualcomm devices in EDL mode.
If you have a KnoxGuard Locked Samsung device like this, you can remove this lock with Chimera.
First, we will connect the device in EDL mode using test points and then click on the KnoxGuard Remove procedure.
As the bootloader was not unlocked, we will click cancel and then open it manually from download mode.
To do this:
Now, you need to connect the device in EDL mode for the second time and start the Knox Guard Remove procedure again, and click OK.
After clicking OK the procedure will finish and then you must boot up your phone before reconnecting it once more.
Reconnect the device once more in EDL mode and start the KnoxGuardRemove procedure. Once it is finished successfully you do not need to do anything else and the phone can be used normally. It is very important that this procedure does not require any special or patched firmwares and you do not need to reflash the phone with a different firmware during the operation.
