How many computers can be used on your License?

This document created at Mar 24, 2021, 4:55:40 PM and modified at Apr 20, 2024, 7:35:56 PM.

Hereby we are introducing you our new computer usage system.

As you may all know, our licenses are valid for 12 months and the allowed numbers of PCs are divided accordingly. We separate the PC usage into 4 quarters (Q1-Q4). On each quarter (Q1=3 months) you will be able to use certain amount of PCs based on your license type. Please be informed that the period of the quarters cannot be modified. It will remain 3 months/quarter.

Our Samsung and PRO licenses can be used on 6 computers. In every 3 months you will start with a clean slate and you will be able to attach other 6 computers (if you want) to your license. Those who have less than 6 computers attached to their license won’t be affected by this update and there won’t be any requirements from their part. Those Users will be able to use Chimera normally.

In case you have the Premium license, you will be able to use 8 computers on each quarter.

Let’s not forget about our Authenticator. If you already own one, you will be able to use it on unlimited amount of computers.

Last but not least, it is important to mention a little bit about the detach time. The detach time (48 hours waiting period) remains the same and your purchased license can be moved and attached to another PC when the waiting period has passed. Please note that the detach can be done among the currently used 6-8 computers.

Dear Guest,

We would like to inform you that as from 25 May 2018, our company acts according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

Please note some of our main aspirations to protect our customers’ security and personal data. We have always paid special attention to user data and the way we process them, but let us show you some examples:

We provide the option to delete your profile
You can initiate this on the page.

You can always check where else you are signed in from to the site, and if that is not you, you can sign out that browser.

As a first line of defense, your data is protected by security systems specialized in preventing hacking attacks, but our other self-developed security solutions and our ever-running monitoring systems enable us to declare with great certainty that we do everything to prevent unauthorized users from acquiring any sensitive data.

In case of a potential unauthorized physical access to any of our servers, the data stored there is useless, as our storage media are protected by sector-level AES encryption.

All passwords we store are unknown to us as well, since only the passwords’ hash values are stored, randomized with “salt”. This minimizes the risk of any leakage of actual user passwords in case of a potential database leak.

 Got it
