Official roll-out of the new ChimeraTool and information about the prohibited practice of licence sharing
The new ChimeraTool version was officially rolled out on September 19, 2018.
The older versions of the software are no longer available, so there is no possibility to revert back to an older release.
Subsequently, the newest ChimeraTool release makes it virtually impossible to share licences between users.
Any form of licence sharing between users has always been prohibited, and it is clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions document. If a user attempts to share their licence with another user or tries to use one licence on multiple computers at the same time, their account will be suspended, and could also be deleted without any refunds (remaining licences and credits will be lost).
We ask every ChimeraTool user to abide by the rules and guidelines described in our Terms & Conditions – if a user fails to comply with our Terms & Conditions, we will suspend the user without further notice.
